Salary: GBP450 - GBP500 per day

We are recruiting for a HR Engagement Specialist for our prestigious client based in London.  We are looking for someone who can develop and deliver effective engagement and communications campaigns.

This is a fixed term (umbrella) contract position until December working initially 3 days a week in London (Euston) and 2 days a week in Birmingham (reducing to 1 day a week in Birmingham).

The role will be reporting directly to the HR Engagement Manager and will be working closely with the Comms and Change team.  The role will be 70% engagement and 30% comms.

The HR Engagement specialist will deliver effective engagement activities which engage and inspire employees and embed behaviour and culture change into the organisation.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting and liaising with the internal communications team to deliver the HR communication strategy
  • Drafting communications for business-wide distribution that convey the key HR values, culture and business change
  • Managing the annual staff survey process, providing effective suggestions for improvement and the communication of survey results and management of follow-up actions
  • Working closely with the Data and MI team on analysis of staff survey results, exit interview data and other people analytics, to be able to communicate outcomes and insights generated.

The ideal HR Engagement Specialist will have experience working in similar role in the public sector (an advantage), knowledge of HR processes and procedures engagement survey process; also experience of utilising communication channels including newsletters, intranet and social media.

The HR Engagement Specialist must have experience of managing engagement projects and working with internal stakeholders, building and maintaining relationships. Key relationships will be with HR, and the Internal Communications and the organisation Development Teams.
