HR Shared Services Manager

HR Shared Services Manager (CGSSA) Birmingham, England

Salary: GBP36300 - GBP36300 per annum + inc flex cap 15%

We are recruiting for a HR Shared Services Manager to lead a team of HR Shared Service Assistants, Payroll administrators and HR Consultants for our client based in Birmingham.

In brief, the HR Shared Services Manager will:

  • Ensure consistent application of HR processes, and delivery of HR services within agreed SLAs.
  • Develop a team of HR Shared Services Assistants that are detail conscious, ensuring that HR processes are delivered right first time, every time.
  • Coach and support the HR Shared Services team in providing ‘first-line’ advice to line managers and employees in the application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support and develop the roll out of employee self-service as moves to the new Oracle ERP system.
  • Advise on current HR policies and drive the development/improvement of HR policy, working with the Head of Employee Relations
  • Oversee payroll operations, coordinating with the vendors and the internal team to deliver pay accurately, timely in compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Accountable for the payroll control structure, e.g. ensuring segregation of duties, accuracy of payroll and HMRC reporting, regularly reviewing, testing and improving payroll controls.

The ideal HR Shared Services Manager candidate should be from a similar background; knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage.
