The Job
Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager, this Commercial Analyst will be responsible for the consolidation and accurate reporting of the monthly management reports relating, but not limited to, inventory, material price variances and royalty reporting. You will partner with sales on a daily basis to support their decision making. The Commercial Analyst will work closely with the Financial Planning Manager in preparing precise monthly and quarterly budgets along with review of forecast and KPI variances. They will also be responsible for delivering timely and accurate sales reports on key products and brand data in various formats whilst offering commentary on their findings.
The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for building business partnering relationships with various stakeholders within their division. They will interpret and influence data required to deliver internal customers meaningful business reports that will drive strategy and pricing.

Candidate Profile
You are a qualified Accountant and have completed your CA/CPA. You are currently working in a high volume FMCG environment. You have strong commercial analytical skills and you come from a complex sales and costings background. Personally you are energetic with strong verbal and written communication skills and have proven your ability to drive change within a similar industry sector. Technically you feel comfortable challenging business models and you are able to influence those around you without direct leadership. You have advanced excel capabilities and in-turn are able to manipulate and interpret large amounts of data. SAP and Access Database experience is essential for the successful commercial analyst.
