Role Overview
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this Management Accountant will drive advice/reporting to aid in management of and decision making in relation to the business. On a day-to-day basis, this Management Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of weekly profit forecasting results proving monthly management reports summarising operating results. You will provide reporting related to inventory management and will provide BOM analysis. This Management Accountant will be responsible for all month end reporting & journals. You will also review existing costing methodology and recommend/implement changes.

Responsibilities

• Management reporting on a monthly basis
• Analysing month end results
• Budgeting/Forecasting
• Maintenance and review of standard costs
• Review and improve job costing processes including implementation of required controls
• Month end reporting including calculation of PPV’s, standard cost recoveries & other accruals and journal entries as required.
• Business point of contact for all ERP support issues

Candidate Profile
You are a CA or CPA qualified or part qualified Finance Professional with Management Accounting experience. You will bring to the role a strong focus in Management Accounting within the manufacturing industry. You are technically minded and enjoy being involved in the Financial Accounting side of the business. You have hands on ERP experience and have worked with TM1.
