Senior Penetration Tester – UK Based

Penetration tester / CHECK / testing / CREST / Security / SC cleared / team leader

Senior Penetration Tester required for a leading Professional Services company based in Milton Keynes. As a Senior Security Testing Consultant you will be an exceptional Cyber Security consultant with deep technical skills and excellent consulting skills. You will be leading and delivering large and complex projects and managing other Security Testing Consultants under their supervision.

You will have strong technical skills in multiple areas and be able to deliver and report on complex technical security assessments. Responsibilities will also include mentoring Security Testing Consultants, conducting Cyber Security research and writing white papers.

This is a client facing role where your excellent written and verbal communication skills will be vital. With varied assignments working as part of a team or alone, your security skills and understanding of risk will ensure improved security for our clients.

This role is Home based with travel to Client sites within the UK.

Key Skills

• You should have a strong technical background including experience of networks and Operating Systems.
• Good documentation/ reporting skills and the ability to effectively manage projects by utilising multiple Security Consultants.
• You will be able to demonstrate your skills and experience as a CHECK Team Leader (CTL) or equivalent qualifications such as CREST Certified Tester (CCT) or Tigerscheme Senior Tester (SST).
• Be capable of holding (or already have) UK Government Clearance to SC level – due to the nature of the work
• Be keen to develop your technical skills and wider industry knowledge.
• Set a strong example to other Security Consultants, including a positive attitude and effective time management and communication skills.

The salary my client is offering for this position is between £55,000 and £85,000 per annum depending on experience as well as an excellent benefits package.
