Senior Legal Counsel

Gibbs Hybrid, a leading International IT & Business Services firm, is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel (In-House) with a strong background in commercial contracts, GDPR, IR35, Data Protection, litigation, and employment law.

£300pd
Option to work as Perm role with excellent salary and benefits if preferred.
Wallington - Surrey - South London

Contracts and Legal/Contract queries
•Work with onboarding new client Master Services Agreements, Consultancy Agreements and Global Framework Agreements
•Assist internal stakeholders with legal and contract queries
•Respond to queries from external clients
•Ensure flow down of agreements are noted in sub-contractor agreements
•Providing strong protection commercially
•Produce NDA and confidentiality agreements
•Flow down all client contracts into template contractor agreements
•Manage contractual obligations that we have to the client and flow down into the template contractors’ agreements
•Maintain compliance with the relevant data protection laws
•Data subject requests
•Carry out requests from data subjects to deal with their right to erasure
•Delivering internal training sessions on data protection
•Manage any litigation issues that arise as they come in
•Work with CFO to ensure that insurance is appropriate for the client contracts
•Providing advice to the company on ISO documentation
•Manage trademark applications; Filing form with Intellectual Property Office
•Awareness of what IR35 relates to and off-payroll working; preparing for April 2020 legislation
•Dealing with contractor, consultant, supplier queries
