Payroll & HR Administrator (F(1149132)-JRD) Charlotte, North Carolina
Payroll & HR Administrator will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Processing of weekly union & non-union payroll for approx. 100+ employees
- Ensuring accuracy of payroll deductions and costs
- Timely and accurate payment of payroll liabilities
- Prepare & file federal & state quarterly payroll tax returns
- Monthly union, certified payroll & OCIP reporting
- Maintain and document all payroll records
- Effectively communicate both written and verbally with all levels of management
- Assist in preparation of annual retirement census reporting
- Assist with annual worker’s comp audit
- Reconcile general ledger with regard to payroll transactions
- Benefits Administration-Enrollments, terminations, changes, open enrollment
- Ensure compliance with company’s procedures and practices for terminations & onboarding of new hires
- Communicate with employees about compensation, benefits and other facts of their employment
- Respond to questions or complaints from employees in a timely fashion
Requirements:
- Union payroll experience
- Human resource experience
- Job costing and or construction experience
- Organized and able to meet critical deadline
- Professional demeanor
- Dependable, responsible and trustworthy
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with ERP software
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
