Irvine Technology is looking for a Enterprise Architect working in Fortune 500 ( Matrixed ) environments and with preferably exposure to Life Sciences industry. The candidate should have a track record making strategic impacts on large complex systems and architecture with additional experience and interest in the business operations and how the Architecture impacts the business as well. The right candidate should be familiar with a variety of systems such as Cloud, Mobile, ERP, Data Integration, eCommerce, B2B, Portals, Identity Management, SSO, and any other systems I.T. may implement to support the business needs.
6 month plus contract.
Pay rate DOE (W2 or CTC)
Location is Orange County, CA.

Requirements Definition & Deliverables:
Project Support & Governance
Managing Enterprise Architecture Artifacts
Education and Experience:
Minimum 12 years IT experience working with Fortune 500 environments
Minimum 5 years working as an Enterprise Architect
Must have a Bachelor's Degree but a Master's Degree is preferred
Specific experience in the pharmaceutical and/or health care industry with specific FDA regulatory compliance experience is highly desirable.
Must have demonstrated experience in working directly with the business in the development of major IT strategies and global roadmaps/implementations
Must have completed portfolio management/product rationalization within the specialty
Deep technical knowledge in the discipline - experience leading teams of matrixed participants in the development of strategies, roadmaps, and delivery of key enterprise architectures within the discipline
Previous experience in the develop of architectural processes and identification of appropriate architecture artifacts for an agile organization
Knowledge of components of a holistic Enterprise Architecture
Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes
Knowledge of SDLC and structured project management methodologies
Basic knowledge of financial analysis and models and ability to estimate financial impact of EA alternatives
Ability to translate business needs into EA requirements
Ability to understand the political climate of a multicultural enterprise and how to navigate the politics
