I am currently recrutiing for a Web Developer to join a leading publishing business based in London. This business is currently going through a strong growth phase and wants to make sure that it has a strong technical base in order to grow successfully.
They are looking for a Web Developer with around 2 years experience of working in a commercial environment. The successful candidate will be an all rounder but strong backend skills are a priority.
Key skills required include:
- Grails
- MSSQL
- Understanding of ColdFusion MX9
- Strong Object Oriented programming experience
- Strong knowledge of MVC Frameworks
- Experience with Javascript, XHTML/HTML, CSS
Job role is building andimproving inhouse web sites including mobile sites built using Coldbox. All sites are currently CF9 but they are looking to change to Grails over a period of time. The ideal candidate will be a strong Grails practitioner that is prepared to learn CF in the short to mid term with experience in deploying and monitoring grails based apps in Windows 2008 based environments.
A strong Coldfusion Developer who is interested in Grails / MVC architecture will also be considered. An interest in mobile app development is also desirable although not essential.
