SQL DBA required to work for a leading IT Solutions partner Crimson Limited. Crimson are a Microsoft Gold Partner business looking to grow a new team.
You will responsible for creating, monitoring and maintenance of production and development databases. You will also be required to contribute to the planning, development and troubleshooting of any database issues.
This role will be suited to someone with a strong infrastructure background who has specialised within SQL Database Administration within a role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation of database support activities
- Troubleshooting SQL Server environments
- Manage and maintain Global SQL Server estates
- Working closely with Development, Support and I.T. Operations teams
Key Skills:
- Detailed knowledge of Transact SQL, SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014
- Experience of performance tuning, query tuning and optimization, automation &Windows Server performance tuning
- Production DBA activities with a thorough knowledge of Backup, Restore and DR processes/design. Cluster failover, High Availability, disk strategies and capacity management / planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

My Client is offering a salary for this position of £45,000 - £50,000 + car allowance depending on your experience
