Infrastructure Manager required for a leading client based in Liverpool where you will come on board to provide team leadership and accountability for Server Infrastructure, Virtualisation & Wintel Platforms, Data Storage Management, Hosting Facilities & Cloud
My client is working towards a simplified set of IT services, hosted in the cloud and developed iteratively to ensure they meet our changing needs – now and in the future. Your IT Services expertise will be critical to making this happen. Focusing primarily in the area of specialist infrastructure you’ll oversee both technical and service issues, ensuring we perform in line with business needs.
In this role you will provide team leadership and accountability for Server Infrastructure, Virtualisation & Wintel Platforms, Data Storage Management, Hosting Facilities & Cloud including the following technologie:-
- Unix / Linux / Solaris / Itanium / OpenVMS
- VMWare / Wintel
- Storage / SAN / NetApp / StorSimple
- Data centre services
- Cloud hosting including IaaS and PaaS
To succeed, you’ll need knowledge of IT best practice as defined by ITIL, as well as expertise in all aspects of the full IT service management lifecycle. This should include familiarity with service design and transition, and recognised project management approaches such as PRINCE2 and Agile.
My client are offering a salary of between £55,000 and £61,000 depending on experience
