Program Manager - Domestic Violence (CMFeb02) Southwestern Sydney, Australia

Salary: AUD91000 - AUD92000 per annum + Super + Salary Packaging

They provide support and/or accommodation to women and their children who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or escaping domestic and family violence.

 

About the role:

Based in South West Sydney, as the Program Manager you'll direct and oversee all aspects of the service by providing strategic and operational leadership for all relevant policies, procedures and plans relating to the delivery of the service. 

This role will have you wearing many hats.  Amongst other duties you'll be providing staff supervision; assisting the team with complex case management; identifying appropriate alternative revenue sources; and meeting all data, accreditation and reporting requirements.

 

Essential requirements:

  • Bachelor in Social Work, Psychology or relevant field
  • Experience in operational management within community services
  • Experience in case management/support
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the issues faced by women and their children at risk of homelessness
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the NSW Domestic & Family Violence system
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering a responsive service to people with complex needs
  • Understanding of housing and support issues facing women and their children

  • Maternity leave cover - 9 month contract
  • Excellent Remuneration package - paying over $90k (FTE)
  • Must be happy to carry the on call phone
  • On call allowance
