Position Profile


Omnicom Media Group, one of the world’s leading media advertising networks, is searching for an HR Coordinator to support the East Coast offices of its largest agency, OMD.


We are searching for a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate HR professional. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in a progressive HR function in the media, entertainment, communications or marketing industries.  He/she will provide assistance with facilitating the day-to-day administrative functions and support the HR senior management as needed. The Coordinator also serves as a resource for employees who have HR-related questions or problems. The following are the responsibilities and duties of the Human Resources Coordinator. This is not an all-inclusive list.

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, check and supervise the timely processing of all Change of Employment forms and payroll matters; serving as the primary liaison with the Payroll department
  • Develop, coordinate and lead New Hire Orientation on a bi-weekly basis
  • Coordinate all new hire paperwork, including the issuance of New Hire Packets ahead of an employee’s start, collecting completed paperwork, verifying I-9 information, and ensuring appropriate copies are distributed to corporate office, payroll and benefits
  • Conduct Exit Interviews for exiting junior-level employees
  • Coordinate special projects (i.e. charity and blood drives, etc.)
  • Manage tuition reimbursement program and employee referral bonuses
  • Coordinate and manage internship program

Skills and Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resources a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Windows based computer programs required, specifically Outlook and Excel. Experience with ADP preferred
  • Must provide excellent customer service, possess excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal), have the ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality, and express high standards of professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions to employee questions/issues and to take initiative
  • Ability to work on a team in a fast-pace and dynamic environment
