My client are a solicitors based in the south of Leeds who seek a customer service representative to assist customers with their queries surrounding their arrears. You will deal with a high volume of inbound telephone calls from customers putting affordable repayments into place in conjunction with litigation processes where necessary. You will be expected to adhere to code of practice within the business as well as Solicitor Regulation Authority and financial conduct regulations.

Duties of the Legal Customer Service Representative: -

• Deal with inbound calls with customers who are in arrears to set up repayment plans or initiate litigation processes
• Outbound call customers to update them regarding their accounts and administer call back requests
• Update systems in line with SRA and FCA regulations ensuring all information is up to date
• Clearly explain legal proceedings to customers and consequences of falling into arrears
• Set up payment plans with customers in line with their affordability and expenditure

Skills & Experience Required

To be considered for this role I am keen to hear from you should you have a positive attitude and are passionate about helping customers. Ideally you will have worked in a customer service environment previously, either in a face to face or office based role. You must be able to pass a full credit check, CRB disclosure and provide 5 years’ worth of references. Due to the nature of this role your attitude and behaviour are of utmost importance and my client will be looking for intelligent applicants who are keen to develop a long term career.
