Senior Marketing Executive (6 month Contract), Leeds, £28,000 - £30,000
My client are a supplier to the automotive industry who seek an experienced marketing executive to join the team on a contractual basis to cover a period of maternity leave. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the trade marketing strategy whilst implementing marketing strategies across the business calendar.
You will be offered a 6 month contract to work within an established marketing team as well as a fun enjoyable environment who can support your employment with excellent benefits and exciting future prospects. This role is to cover maternity and the ideal candidate will be available immediately to work alongside the current senior marketing executive prior to their departure.
Duties of the Marketing Executive are: -
• Responsible for the brand perception in Trade Channels and using marketing campaigns to raise brand awareness
• Produce a planned timetable of quarterly promotions
• Develop the promotional campaigns
• Develop advertising campaigns in trade publications and customer magazines.
• Visit customers to understand how we can better market our products and services to them.
• Investigate and if required utilise the best social media platforms to deliver product and brand messages to trade partners.
• Competitor and customer analysis to stay abreast and ahead of competitor activity.
Skills & Experience required: -
To be suitable for this role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience working within a marketing role utilising all marketing strategies which does include analysing the productivity of social media platforms. You must be able to provide evidence of implementing marketing strategies and ideally you will have worked for a trade company or supplier, although the latter is not essential for this role. Due to the term of the contract please ensure you are immediately available for work.
