I’m delighted to be working with an award winning global law firm, renowned for its innovation and values, on a Trainee Development opportunity to cover a maternity leave for 12 months. The role will be responsible for all graduate development activity across the UK and reports directly into the Head of Graduate Recruitment & Development.

This firm is looking for someone to start from August 2019 and will manage two direct reports.

The role itself will lead on the design, organisation and execution of the Graduate Induction and Continued Learning programmes across the UK and oversee c. 300 trainees in total. You will also manage the firms relationship with the SRA, ensure the firm’s training programme meets the regulatory requirements and work closely with the Graduate Recruitment Manager to deliver an excellent service to the firm. The position manages all employee relations for the UK graduate population as well as the seat rotation process for all UK offices.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of leading graduate development and programme management activity within a global, matrix organisation. A background in the legal sector would be ideal given the regulatory change within the industry and you must have managed a high volume of trainees previously. The role requires some UK travel, and offers the role holder the opportunity to work with an industry leading graduate recruitment and development team.
