Overview

This role will sit in the UK’s largest publishers programmatic team and report into the Head of Programmatic Trading and Data. The key purpose of this role is to activate the companies audience data for commercial goals.

What you will be doing

  • Manage and apply data using our data management platform (DMP) technologies.
  • Identify, capture and activate data across our digital properties, creating new commercial opportunities and media upsell opportunities.
  • Work closely with digital sales teams, responding to briefs for advertising campaigns and accompanying account managers on sales pitches with leading agencies and advertisers, to provide specialist audience data knowledge.
  • Build data architecture and strategy behind digital advertising campaigns, working closely with our programmatic traders and digital sales team.
  • Seek and establish data partnership opportunities with leading UK brands.
  • On board new data technologies.

What you are great at

  • Very accomplished creating presentations, an eye for design, ability to tell a story through PowerPoint and other presentation programs.
  • Excellent communication skills; very comfortable in front of clients, presenting ideas and using data to outline a comprehensive digital sales story.
  • Adopt a consultative approach to analysing a client and create a data solution bespoke for each advertiser’s needs.
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • A passion for digital technology.
  • Intense attention to detail whilst working under pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Work very well in a team environment.
  • Hunger to learn new skills and increase digital knowledge.
  • Strong Microsoft excel skills, pivot tables and charts.
  • Comfortable synthesising large data sets.

 

Bonus points for…

  • Experience using a DMP (e.g. Lotame, Krux).
  • Experience using analytics programs relevant to digital media and advertising (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture, SSPs, DSPs).
  • SQL skills and knowledge of Cloud technology (e.g. Google Big Query).
  • Experience in digital advertising, specifically programmatic.
