Their customers are diverse and include travel, telecoms, publishing, software and retail. They have just received $43 million investment and this cash injection is being focused on sales and marketing.

What will you be doing?

  • Conduct target account prospecting and sales calls to key decision makers, C level and technical influencers within organizations to identify, and manage up-sell and add-on opportunities
  • Qualify and further develop warm leads by performing and documenting end-user requirements analysis
  • Drive a high level of business development activities, and use Salesforce for tracking and planning
  • Establish and nurture key relationships with prospects and customers to gain a clear understanding of company and customers' goals to enable expansion of technology and solutions across the enterprise
  • Undertake cold calling campaigns around specific business propositions or market awareness
  • Qualify and develop leads passed over by marketing to appointment-setting stage for hand over to sales
  • Work closely with sales and pre-sales consultants to meet prospect/customer requirements during qualification process including initial pricing quotations
  • Meet quarterly/yearly qualified sales opportunity targets

 

About you

  • 3+ years of sales/lead generation experience in enterprise software
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding lead generation targets in a phone sales environment
  • Must possess strong prospecting account management and closing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), and ability to foster team orientation with counterparts
  • Knowledge of business organisation structures, buying influences, and purchasing processes
  • Ability to analyse and assess potential business opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to keep lots of balls going without dropping any
  • Driven to work on own initiative
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, and eagerness to navigate into uncharted territory
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Computer skills and aptitude, and Salesforce knowledge is valuable
  • Fluent English language skills and a second language is desirable
