Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Reports Developer.  Our client is seeking three Business Systems Consultants to provide Correspondent Lending Business Intelligence (BI) development and data analysis, focused on delivery of prioritized demands.  The candidate will be responsible for consultative engagement to gather solution and data requirements, conduct analysis leveraging multiple sources, design and development visual components (mock up to final product), complete system development lifecycle (SDLC) documents and deployment preparation following Technology Change Management policy and perform ongoing maintenance of complex BI, reporting and analytics solutions for Correspondent.

After successful onboarding of department procedures and processes, this team member will work collaboratively with peers internal to CIIS and Business to deliver assignments. Typical workload consists of a combination of short term tactical assignments leveraging current systems, including monitoring mailbox for demand intake and delivery of ad-hoc requests, where the ability to shift focus in support of competing priorities is required to fulfill demands of the role and ensure due dates are met and business value delivered.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop operational, management and executive reports using Microsoft BI Stack (SQL DB, SSRS, SSIS, SSMS, SSAS) and Teradata using T-SQL
• Consult with Correspondent leaders to define very complex reporting and analytics requirements
• Compile data from multiple data sources to create BI solutions
• Create data mapping documents, BI SDLC process documents, report mock-ups and test scripts
• Analyze data and recommend solutions to measure performance trends, to increase efficiency and quality, and to ensure compliance
• Successfully manage numerous open, active requests to complete delivery
• Respond to ad-hoc analysis and report requests
• Cover mailbox monitoring rotation to support business needs
• Own multiple production reports; be responsible for all aspects of these reports from idea to production, including maintenance, documentation and performance
• Work with managers and team members to resolve data and reporting issues
• Accept assignment of internal department improvement responsibilities to keep department compliant to policies and standards
• Establish relationships with Business partners
• Adhere to Enterprise data management policies, procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of SQL experience
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate trends and impacts to mid-senior level management
• Experience performing analysis and recommending operational measurements and goal alignment and process improvements
• Ability to compile, research, and deliver in-depth analysis on critical operational data
• Experienced in building relationships and communicating effectively with senior leaders
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver quality products under tight time lines
• Knowledge of database structures
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite of Products
• Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude
• Teradata experience
• Data Modeling and Database Design experience
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
• Knowledge and understanding of mortgage industry operations
