Exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Director to join a leading international brand based in Berkshire. The inspirational and innovative HR Director will lead the HR function in every HR discipline including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management, training and organisational development and more.
The HR Director will be a forward-thinking individual who is not afraid to challenge existing processes and strategies and will have the influencing ability to drive through effective change and to position the company as the undisputed employer of choice in the region.


Key elements for the HR Director:

  • To contribute to workforce planning and manage high-volume recruitment seasonal staff, attracting, assessing, recruiting and on-boarding high volumes of people each year.
  • Innovation and continuous improvement - you will constantly look to add value, introduce new ways of thinking and doing and generally seek to implement best practice in all areas of influence
  • Optimisation and management of manpower costs – both locally and in relation to our broader corporate entities and other business units.
  • Managing Employee relations – ensuring employees still need to be supported and guided when work pressures build. You’ll be experienced and effective in this respect.
  • Change management –you need to be great at managing change initiatives and be a strong and savvy influencer and motivator.
  • Values driven – principles, behaviours and values are absolutely key to the companies culture and success – you will be a stand out advocate and leader across all of them.
  • Talent Management - you will lead the agenda in partnership with the Divisional Director ensuring we maximise the potential of our HIPO’s and leaders.

The Successful HR Director will have:

  • Proven experience operating at HR Director level and previously as a highly effective Manager.
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including robust problem solving skills, critical thinking, and a demonstrable analytical ability
  • Experience gained within a fast-paced environment, with overall responsibility for at least 1000+ employee recruits yearly.
  • In depth knowledge of the local labour market in the South West and London
  • Mass recruitment experience and proven hands on evidence of devising and delivering multi-channel, multi-faceted, multi-generational and diversity aligned advertising campaigns
  • Excellent senior stakeholder relationship management skills, able to shape and deliver strategic people priorities
  • Demonstrated skill in interpersonal relationships, presentations, influence, coaching and verbal and written communications
