Senior Design Engineer - Signalling (7946) Hong Kong
Job Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day signalling contracts, including reviewing system specifications and tender evaluation prior to contract award stage, and approving design, installation and testing and commissioning submissions.
- Oversee interface management, site coordination with contractors and external parties, as well as contract administration and development of plans for resolution of conflicts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent and Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution.
- At least 12 years’ experience in managing the design and construction of signalling works for large-scale railway projects, of which 4 years should be at management level.
- Solid experience in tender evaluation, design, implementation and testing and commissioning of a Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) Signalling System or familiarity with the European Rail Traffic Management System /European Train Control System (ERTMS/ETCS) and its adaptation utilized by the Chinese Train Control System (CTCS) will be an advantage.
