MANAGING QUANTITY SURVEYOR - YORKSHIRE – up to £65K + CAR + BENEFITS

One of the best known contractors within the rail industry have an exciting opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to help lead them through a period of growth and diversification. Initially, with the support of the Commercial Manager, the role will hold full commercial responsibility for the asset management programme for Network Rail which provides around £15m worth of turnover per annum. Off the back of this, there could be opportunities to work within different work streams and/or follow promotional moves within the business as it continues to organically grow. Duties will include: -
- Hands on management of a portfolio of work for planned business streams
- Management of commercial teams overseeing reactive works
- Overall commercial responsibility for £14m turnover per annum
- Full financial reporting for the department
- Attending client and senior management meetings to provide commercial updates
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Must have experience of managing teams
- Salary negotiable dependent on experience with company car
