QUANTITY SURVEYOR – KNOWSLEY – CIRCA £40K + CAR + BONUS

Our client is a highly renowned Civil Engineering contractor who work on a national basis from regional offices. Specialising in term maintenance, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be the lead on the framework throughout the North West with work including communication upgrades, vegetation clearance, winter maintenance, retaining walls, drainage schemes and large surfacing works. Duties will include: -
- Full and complete control of all commercial activities in relation to the contract
- Producing Bills of Quantities
- Sending enquiries to subcontractors and procuring of subcontractor
- Cost forecasting
- Budget control
- Compensation events
- Pricing variations
- Agreement of final accounts and variations
- Submission of monthly valuations
- Ideally have a construction related qualification although work experience in a relevant field will also be considered
- Must be able to manage multiple schemes concurrently in a fast paced environment
- Salary negotiable dependent on experience with company car and guaranteed bonus
