FREELANCE SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – LEATHERHEAD – 1 YEAR CONTRACT!!!!

Our client is a regional contractor providing a variety of highways maintenance and civil engineering projects in and around the M25. They have an extensive portfolio of clients and the pipeline ahead requires additional resource from a commercial point of view. This will be an initial one year contract with the potential to extend further: -
- Agreeing target cost
- Management of subcontract and direct labour costs
- Ensuring any delays and changes are priced and recorded in accordance with the contract
- Agreeing any variations with the client
- Making applications for payment and chasing of these to maximise cash flow
- Ensuring best value gained from the project
- Must be experienced with the NEC form of contract
- Day rate to be negotiated
