Warehouse Team Member

Our company is always looking for hard working individuals to be part of the team.
The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for enabling warehouse operations through supporting production, transferring and storing, and picking activities.

This is a position that requires Thursday through Monday 8am to 5pm shift.

Responsibilities:

Select product accurately and properly verify all product
Report any discrepancies immediately to supervisor
Responsible for loss, damage and inventory control
Must be able to select product quickly, but with minimal damage
Must be able to interact courteously and tactfully with managers, co-workers, customers and/or vendors to the point that productivity and morale are positively affected
Must work in a safe and effective manner
Timely & regular attendance is required
Incidents must be reported promptly to supervisor
Turn in complete and accurate paperwork
Take accurate temperature readings and check for damaged product
Check pallets for bad wood
Report any equipment problems to plant engineer and supervisor
Safely operate equipment and maintain cleanliness of freezer and dock
Talk with supervisor with ideas for more efficient operations
Maintain outstanding attendance and punctuality record in accordance with the attendance policy
Responsibilities also include the ability and willingness to perform all warehouse activities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Must be able to accurately select product and stack it neatly and correctly arrows up, labels out
Knowledge to operate a pallet jack , forklift, reach truck, and/or cherry picker in a safe manner
Must have ability to read, write, identify and verify numbers and pay close attention to detail
Must be able to build 7-foot tall pallets with case weights up to 80 lbs
Must be able to withstand repetitive bending, twisting, stooping and walking
Must be able to withstand temperatures between -20 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit
Minimum performance of required case per hour 230 pr 350 (Selectors are allowed a trial period of 30 days to reach the case minimum. If this level is not attained, employment will be terminated.)
Must be able to meet need to perform strenuous pushing and pulling
Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
