- Used in New Build and retrofit for Apartments, Domestic Houses, Care Homes, Student Accommodation and Hotels.

- Products include Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR), Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV), Decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (dMEV), Intermittent Extract Fans, Positive Input Ventilation (PIV), Duct Systems and Total Heat Recovery Exchangers.

- THE ROLE;

- As Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Executive, you'll be selling Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR), Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV), Decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (dMEV), Intermittent Extract Fans, Positive Input Ventilation (PIV), Duct Systems and Total Heat Recovery Exchangers.

- Selling to; Mechanical and Electrical Contractors (M&E), Heating and Ventilation installers, Property Developers, Regional House Builders, Design and Build contractors, to break specification and then back-sell to Builders Merchants, Plumbers merchants and Distributors.

- Selling complete HVAC systems, including Fans and ducting, for use in New Build and retrofit for Apartments, Domestic Houses, Care Homes, Student Accommodation and Hotels.

- Covering Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Derby, Peterborough, Lincoln, Sheffield, up to Chester.

- Typically making 4 calls per day, 3 to the contractor and 1 to the distributor.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

- My client recruits on attitude and offers excellent product training. Ideally you'll have Technical sales experience, ideally with a product that is sold into M&E Contractors.

- Experience of selling fans, ventilation, air conditioning, heating products, boilers, lighting, underfloor heating, ducting, lifts and escalators, alarm systems, fire and security, refrigeration etc would be very relevant.

- Our client would also look at a graduate with a Mechanical Engineering Degree, with some sales experience, or a practical, engaging, positive individual, looking to move into sales, perhaps currently working as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Consultant.

- Knowledge of Building regulations, as you'll be speaking with technically strong individuals on site, such as duct work installers and H&V Installers.

- Because you'll be back-selling through National and Regional Builders Merchants and Plumbers merchants, my client would also consider an ambitious, successful, Field sales professional, perhaps in a key account position, currently selling into contractors and installers.

- Confident, a strong relationship builder, happy to on occasion entertain clients.

THE SALARY;

- Basic salary of £32,000- £37,000. Commission paid monthly, quarterly and annually, of up to £22k.
