The Job
As the Accounts Receivable Supervisor you will report directly to the Finance Manager and be responsible for the supervision and management of a $50-60M debtors portfolio. This Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for leading and developing a small team and will manage KPI's like DSO and collection targets. You will also be responsible for managing doubtful debts with a key focus on 90+ day reduction. Along with managing and setting KPI's this Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for monthly reporting of key performance metrics and driving improvement. A large part of your role will be continued process improvement around the collection process and the effective management of customer accounts. This Accounts Receivable Supervisor will also manage their own portfolio of strategic and major accounts ensuring high quality management and service. You will also be responsible for assisting with audits both internally and externally.

In addition to this, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor will also take on more traditional accounting responsibilities such as cash flow forecasting, GL work and will provide a great foundation for someone who is open to taking on more responsibilities for professional development and eventually transition to an Accountant.


Candidate Profile
You have significant experience as a Senior Credit Controller/Senior Accounts Receivable Officer with sizable achievements around credit KPIs and DSO reductions. You will have experience in leading and mentoring teams of credit/AR professionals and have the ability to drive process change. You are happy to be hands on with your credit responsibilities as well as have the visibility to delegate tasks to your team. Communication and diplomacy is your strength and you feel confident in dealing with senior managers as well as Sales and Operations. Previous experience in a high volume transactional environment will be highly regarded as will proficiency with Excel and exposure to large ERP such as SAP or Oracle.
