Role Overview
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager this Finance Manager will have responsibility for the Corporate reporting function of this organisation. This role will see the successful candidate ensure compliance and statutory obligations for this FMCG Giant.
Your day to day responsibilities will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of business reporting at a consolidated level with analysis and commentaries on all major consolidated management reports. You will ensure that the standard operating procedures for all financial reporting functions are working effectively and are compliant with IFRS. You will prepare information on a monthly, half yearly and yearly basis and will be the matter expert for all tax related queries. You are also responsible for maintaining the company’s sizable fixed asset register.
As the Finance Manager, you will have a direct report and be responsible for the development and leadership of your team member.
You will participate in and lead initiatives in developing systems, improving processes and procedures, merges and acquisitions and making the financial reporting function more efficient. You will have involvement with and exposure to senior executives; therefore this role is considered a high profile opportunity. You will be responsible for the organisations tax return and tax planning so prior experience is a necessity.

Candidate Profile
You are CA or CPA qualified with strong corporate financial reporting. You may be a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager in a corporate organisation with preferably a Big 4 background. Assistant Managers or Managers from the Big 4 or mid-tier environment with experience in auditing listed organisations are encouraged to apply. Technically, your skills are strong and you wish to expand them within a FMCG / Manufacturing environment. Your verbal and written communication skills are one of your strengths and you feel confident navigating and manipulating data in Excel.
