Explanation for Position:
The position entails the complete software development life cycle – analysis, design, implementation, unit, integration, system test, deployment and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordination of cross functionality with multiple stakeholders, production of technical documentation, analysis of business and functional requirements.
2. Participation in project architecture and technical design, performing technical analysis, implementation, debugging and maintenance of complex program modules.
3. Writing design and technical specifications, code implementation, defect correction, unit testing, and participation in design and code reviews.
Details of Position:
1. The successful candidate will be proficient developing server and web-based applications deployed on Web logic and Apache server environments using Java, JSP, Java Beans, XML, JavaScript, Web Services, and EJB.
2. The candidate will also be proficient in database application development utilizing SQL and relational database techniques.
3. Experience with MS SQL Server [2008, 2012] is preferred.
4. Ability to create, modify or support existing database objects and stored procedures.
5. Able to perform query optimization, and determine proper indexes.
6. Tool Usage: SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) and Team Foundation System (TFS).
Management Skills: Bachelor degree Computer Science or related discipline with 6+ years of technical experience developing server and web-based applications.
