QHSE Coordinator (HQ00026973) Cape Town, South Africa
A leading global freight forwarding company are currently recruiting for a QHSE Coordinator to be based in Cape Town on a permanent basis.
Key responsibility will include:
Lead the implementation of the QHSE system in the organization.
Manage the QHSE documentation according to the company standards, follow-up overall QHSE policy, procedures and work instructions.
Organise and perform audits according to international standards (ISO9001,14001 & OHASA18001).
Ensure that we comply with the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
Oversee on-site QHSE actions, set targets and measure performances.
Manage the continuous improvement process.
Prepare weekly reports on QHSE activities
Report QHSE performance issues
Train the QHSE
Prepare and open accounts of suppliers
Coordinate of all office maintenance (e.g. air cond, electrical, plumbing etc.)
Stock and stock take control.
Coordinate information board panels, ensuring that all branches have the same information.
Ordering Business Cards
Organising and communicating intra company events and year end corporate gifts.
Co coordinating DHL monthly recap and validation of express couriers.
Assist at the switchboard when required.
Assist Top Management in administrative tasks
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Matric
Health and Safety qualification
Knowledge and experience of ISO9001, 14001 & OHSA 18001
2 years experience in a HSE environment
IT Skills / MS Office, Excel & Outlook
