Job ID: 1979 Position Description: Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group, is currently recruiting for a Flag Person (2 positions) for our Oshkosh WI location. This position reports to the Manager - Customer Service and will be scheduled to work when needed with no commitment to specified work hours and may include short term notice scheduling. This position is part-time and does not offer benefits. The hourly rate of pay is $12.58.
The successful applicant must have the ability to work outside with exposure to all types of weather conditions including excessive heat, cold, rain, snow and humidity for long periods of time. May be exposed to slippery or uneven walking surfaces. Job requires reporting to either home office or job site. May occasionally require travel up to 60 miles from home office location.
- Safely direct and control movement of traffic through utility work zone, using sign, hand, and flag signals.
- May deliver, set-up, maintain and remove temporary traffic control devices.
Position Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform duties with long periods of standing or walking in addition to lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 lbs.
- A valid driver’s license.
