The Job
- Conducting Failure Analysis and internal/external rejects and drive for CA closures
- Providing technical support and resolve with customer on quality and technical issues
- Direct liaison with inter-department/suppliers on CA effectiveness and preventive measure to resolve quality issue
- Generating reports on Customer Claims and Costing for internal management review
- Liaison and co-ordinate between customer and company on claim/quality issues
- Providing engineering support to internal department related to customer complaints or technical problems
- Planning and coordinating with Production on non-conformance product screening
- Oversee in problem solving and monitor improvement related to quality issues
- Assist in Internal Quality Audit, reports, follow-up and closure
The Talent
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Quality Engineering or equivalent
- With working experience in quality or engineering management preferably in metal precision engineering, tool & die and/or semi-conductor industry
- Hands-on experience in supplier qualification, incoming inspection, in-process inspection, outgoing inspection, equipment calibration recall, claim handling, internal audit and maintaining ISO System
- Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office, SPC, MSA, FMEA or QC Tools
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and selling skills
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent acumen in business / commercial strategy
