Scrum Master/ Agile Coach (15248764/001) Southend-On-Sea, England
Advantage Resourcing is seeking Scrum Master (Multiple Vacancies) for a Public Sector based in Southend- On-Sea. This is initially 3 months contract and the rate is £400 - £550 UMBRELLA / £320 – 440.15 PAYE. (Deemed Inside IR35- Please note that the client has determined that the off-payroll working rules will apply to this assignment and where a worker elects to provide their services through an intermediary (such as a personal services company) then income tax and primary national insurance contributions will be deducted at source from any payments made to the intermediary).

Essential experience:
• Experience of scaled Agile methods and understanding of Devops
• Good understanding of Test-driven development (TDD), Business Driven Development (BDD)
• Implementation of JIRA, JIRA Agile and Confluence
• Strong technical background either as a Business Analyst, Software Developer, Quality Analyst or Project Manager
• Involved with all aspects of software delivery and life cycle, from inception phase to UAT and delivery
• Lead teams who delivered successful enterprise software development projects
• Successfully applied Agile/XP/Scrum/Kanban practices and introduced Agile techniques and have coached teams to apply them effectively
• Proficient in managing scope in an Agile project and facilitating the user story lifecycle in close collaboration with the customer/Product Owner, including breaking down complex requirements into independent user stories, capturing detailed acceptance criteria, building a release plan with user, managing the backlog, running showcases
• Ideally experience of running distributed teams and distributed agile
• Should have a background in development
Desirable:
• Previous extensive commercial experience in software engineering
• Knowledge and experience of delivery within a Service Oriented Architecture
• Knowledge of Business Process Management tools, their use and delivery
