Are you currently studying your AAT qualification? Or looking for your first step into an industry-based role from practice? A leading manufacturing business with multiple factories in East Yorkshire are recruiting for a Junior Accountant to join their finance team.

The Junior Accountant will be based near Driffield, easily commutable from Scarborough, Bridlington, Hornsea, Beverley and surrounding areas.

Reporting in the Finance Manager, the Junior Accountant will be responsible for:

• Supporting with transactional finance (sales & purchase ledger)
• Assisting with month end accounting and reconciliation
• Assisting in year-end activities (incl. audit files and statutory accounts)
• Developing improvements to processes and controls
• Ad hoc reporting as required

We are really to keen to speak with candidates who are currently studying their AAT qualification or who have previous experience within an accountancy practice and are looking to move into industry.
