Office and Accounts Administrator (VC8343) Pickering, England

Salary: GBP18000 - GBP22000 per annum

A successful manufacturing business is recruiting for an Office and Accounts Administrator to join their team based in Pickering, North Yorkshire. This will be a 6 month fixed term-contract between August 2019 – January 2020.

The successful Office and Accounts Administrator will provide support across several functions and departments, specifically finance.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, key responsibilities will include:

  • Collate information to process credit card transactions; particularly at month end
  • Supporting the Financial Controller in daily monitoring of cash and forecasting
  • Petty cash management
  • Ad hoc accounts based tasks as required
  • Provide admin assistance to the business owner when required
  • Ensure smooth day to day running of the office
  • Responsibility for arranging business travel
  • Management of premises; H&S etc

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have previous experience in an Accounts Administration of Finance Administration role. You must be comfortable communicating with colleagues, suppliers and customers at all levels, whilst maintaining a professional business approach.

Previous experience using accountancy software such as Sage, Xero or Quickbooks would be an advantage.
