Finance Assistant (VC8266) Scarborough, England

A successful business based in Scarborough is recruiting for an experienced part-time Finance Assistant to manage all accounting functions up to trial balance.
You will be joining a family run company that has ambitious growth plans.
Reporting into the senior management team, the successful Finance Assistant will be responsible for:
- Managing the purchase and sales ledger
- Supplier payments
- Petty cash management
- Bank reconciliations
- Cashflow forecasting
- Monthly trial balance
This is a part-time position that can be worked flexibly around current commitments. We are looking to speak with candidates who have previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Finance Assistant position. Experience using an accountancy package such as Sage, Quickbooks or Xero would be advantageous.
Ideally, you will have, or be studying, an AAT qualification but please also apply if you have recent relevant experience.
This role is based on the outskirts of Scarborough, easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Filey, Bridlington or Driffield.
