An exciting business based near Malton is currently recruiting for a part-qualified Assistant Accountant to join their head office team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to continue their study whilst working in a growing business. Study support will be fully funded additional to salary, along with life cover, pension and free parking.

The successful Assistant Accountant will be assisting with all aspects of treasury and group reporting.

Reporting into the Group Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Stock weekly and monthly reporting
• STO weekly and monthly reporting
• Board pack preparation
• Identifying improvements to processes and controls
• Ad hoc reporting for group

We are interested in speaking with part-qualified candidates who are currently studying their ACCA/CIMA qualification. If you are currently in an accounts assistant or finance position looking for your next challenge please get in touch.

The successful Assistant Accountant will have very strong interpersonal skills and will be confident developing strong working relationships with colleagues. Excel experience is essential, and the successful candidate will be confident completing vlookups, pivot tables and sumifs.
