A market leader in their sector is recruiting an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their business. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be studying their AAT qualification with the intention of progressing onto their CIMA or ACA.

This exciting Accounts Assistant role will be commutable for the following; Scarborough, Malton, Driffield, Bridlington and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in all day to day transactional requirements for the business
• Daily reporting
• Purchase Ledger
• Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
• VAT Returns
• Payroll administration

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Accounts Assistant or Trainee Accountant looking for progression into a role which offers study support.

The successful Accounts Assistant will have an excellent work ethic, be able to work independently and will have a desire for progression and further study.

An existing knowledge of day to day accounting is required and previous experience using an accountancy software package is also essential.
