A manufacturing business based in Driffield is recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join their finance team. This s a fantastic opportunity for a trainee who is keen for career progression and development.

Reporting into the UK Financial Controller, the successful Trainee Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing weekly mass balance
- Preparing weekly waste and energy figures
- Review of yield and wastage analysis
- Assisting in the preparation of month-end
- Providing holiday cover (purchase ledger)
The successful Trainee Accountant will be driven, enjoy working with numbers, and looking to progress within a career in accountancy. You may currently be working in a ledger position or have started your AAT qualification.
It is important that you are computer literate, confident with MS Excel and comfortable picking up new systems.
You will be joining a team where the average length of service is 14 years and where progression is encouraged.
This position is based in Driffield, commutable from Scarborough, Bridlington, Beverley and surrounding areas.
