A family run business based in Malton is recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join their team. The successful Payroll Assistant will take responsibility for the full payroll process.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, key responsibilities will include:

• Managing monthly staff payroll
• Payroll data collection
• Calculating wages and any necessary deductions
• RTI submissions to HMRC
• Liaising other relevant legal bodies
• Manage new starters and leavers

The successful Payroll Assistant will have knowledge of SSP, SMP, SAP and SPP, will have excellent attention to detail and previous experience in a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Clerk position.

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience using payroll software such as Sage Pay, Xero or Quickbooks.
