Sales Ledger Assistant (BK3295) Scarborough, England

Salary: GBP8.5 - GBP9 per hour

Castle Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a self-motivated Accounts and Invoicing Assistant to join the Finance Team of an exciting growing business based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

As an integral member of the team you will be a strong team player, with a “can do” hands on attitude and the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. Working knowledge of Sage would be an advantage as would strong IT skills including MS Excel.

The successful Accounts and Invoicing Assistant will have strong all-round experience in the following areas:

  • The issuing of invoices and statements
  • Cash posting and ledger reconciliation for both sales and purchase ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel
  • The ability to work with accuracy, attention to detail and with good organisational skills

To be considered for this exciting Accounts Assistant role you must:

  • Be a confident communicator across all channels and levels, able to build good working relationships
  • Be a strong team player
  • Have previous experience in a fast-paced accounts team
  • AAT qualification and experience with Sage accounting software will be advantageous
