Sales Ledger Clerk

Sales Ledger Clerk (BK4501) York, England

Salary: GBP20000 - GBP23500 per annum

An exciting business, based North of York, is recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their dynamic finance team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the Sales Ledger function and will be responsible for:

  • Processing sales invoices
  • Customer account reconciliations and dispute resolution
  • Distributing customer statements
  • Working will collections agency to collect bad debts
  • Processing staff expenses
  • General ledger journal preparation
  • Purchase ledger cover when required

We are keen to speak with an accounts candidate who has previous sales ledger experience. Previous experience of SAP would be advantageous but candidates who have used Sage, Xero, Quickbooks or another accounting package should also apply.
