Credit Control & Sales ledger Administrator (VC8513) Knaresborough, England

Salary: GBP10 - GBP11.5 per hour

A family-owned business based in Knaresborough is looking for an experienced Credit Control & Sales ledger Administrator to join their growing team. This role will be part-time, circa 22 hours per week, ideally worked over four days but flexible for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business as part of its 5-year growth plan. The successful Credit Control & Sales ledger Administrator will work closely with the Finance Manager to achieve stringent debtor day targets.

Key responsibilities will also include:

  • Credit control
  • Completing credit checks in clients and prospective clients
  • Agreeing and recommending credit limits
  • Managing customer queries incl. credit limits, credit issues, payments and payment issues
  • Cash reconciliations
  • Sales ledger invoicing
  • Raising credit notes

We are looking for someone with previous Credit Control experience who can demonstrate successfully meeting debtor target days. The successful Credit Control & Sales Ledger Administrator will be happy to ‘go the extra mile’ in meeting targets and have excellent communication skills.
