Title: Financial Assistant
Salary: £16,000
Are you hard working and exceptionally organised? My client based in Brighton needs an experienced finance administrator to work alongside the Financial Controller.
The Job Profile:
You will be responsible for ensuring that financial information is processed in accordance with procedures and processes in order to provide management and statutory reporting information. Ensures financial information is completed in accordance with the company’s financial timetables
Duties & Responsibilities:
To be able to work in a busy office environment as part of the finance team, demanding high levels of concentration while inputting, checking and making calculations, while also coping with frequent interruptions, e.g. responding to staff/customer enquiries.
- Invoice and expenses processing
- Cash management
- Producing monthly reports
- Forecasting
- Cost Control
- VAT Returns
Experience:
The ideal candidate will ideally be a graduate, though not necessarily, in Business, Finance, or similar. Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail are an essential part of this role.
- Tenacious self starter with the ability to take initiaive and hit the ground running.
- Excellent organisational skills used in planning own work.
- High level of competence in basic Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Sage experience is desirable but not essential.
You MUST be interested in studying for ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualifications
