This position is within our Air Business Unit, which supports military and civil aerospace customers by providing innovative electronic, electro-mechanical and pneumatic solutions for safety critical and high integrity applications. Products range from in-cockpit equipment and safety critical control systems to innovative translating harnesses. Our pneumatic expertise is creating systems for applications ranging from weapons ejection to portable medical oxygen generation, whilst innovative lighting solutions are reducing through life costs with high reliability and reduced maintenance
Job Purpose
The Air Business Unit requires an additional LabView Engineer to help support current and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create NI LabVIEW solutions to specification and user requirements.
Validate other user’s code back to specifications.
Maintain code with minimum of re-work.
Document and specify LabVIEW code and specifications.
Integrate LabVIEW solutions with UUT.
Fault find and complete root cause analysis.

Background and Understanding
Completed NI Training Course, ideally Cores 1 to 3.
5 years + experience using LabVIEW under Windows in an engineering environment. PFGA and Real time OS experience optional.
Have experience working with the following hardware: PXI chassis and embedded controllers, PC systems and PCI cards, CAN, DAQ, USB, PSU, RS232, RS485
Be able to work with other members of an engineering team.
Be able to prioritise tasks and mange own work load.
Be able to work closely with other LabVIEW engineers on the same solution.
