Job Description
• Evaluate test arrangements to ensure are safe for the operators and for the product
• Define test arrangements
• Generate equipment parts and mature through to release
• Specification and Design of test equipment
• Validation calculations proving designs
• Generating Test Arrangement Diagrams
• Development of processes and practices
• Liaising with system owners and transverse owners for sign off of test designs
• Provide Engineering support to T&C engineers and act as points of technical authority
Responsibilities
Pipe and system design experience for hydraulic and air/gas systems
Experienced with test equipment design and arrangement
Experience writing technical specifications
Process plants, pipe systems, pressure equipment, drawings.
Additional Information
Ideally chartered Engineer (IMechE etc.)
Temporary Contract
Location: BAE Systems - Barrow
Candidates will be required to hold UK Secret level clearance and therefore must either hold SC currently or be eligible and willing to apply for the clearance prior to commencing the position
