Our client in downtown Toronto is currently looking for a desktop support engineer to work on a full time, permanent basis. Salary is 60-78k. No relocation assistance is available, no visa sponsorship is available.
The client is looking for a mixture of:
-Desktop support experience (eg. wintel, firewall, antivirus, security patching, blackberry, cisco equipment, voip etc);
-Trade application experience (eg Charles River);
-Strong SQL querying experience (stored procedures)
The Helpdesk Analyst will be the first point of contact for all technical support queries raised by the business. The Helpdesk Analyst will be responsible for providing 1st line fix for all issues, maintain the interface between the customers and IT, manage all user expectations and follow the calls through the resolution, ensure the correct recording of all problems, comply with policies and ITIL processes and to liaise with the team leader to help improve processes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
