Financial Reporting - Fund Accountant/Oversight (15243568/002) London, England
This Top Tier Custodian Bank is looking for a Financial Accountant who has experience of Financial Reporting within Fund Accounting. They are looking for this individual to cover a variety of functions ranging from liaising with clients and auditors. This is more of an Oversight role so please apply if you have the following experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Production of Unit Trusts’ reports, open ended investment companies (OEICs) and proofing of SORP (2014) accounts to the required standard
•Production of Interim and final report and accounts
•Communicate with other internal departments
•Continuous assessing of processes to reduce risk and cost
The successful candidate is likely to have:
•Proven knowledge and experience within financial service environment including Unit Trust, OEICs and/or Investment Trusts’ report and accounts production
•FCA training
•Computer literacy including strong spread sheet skills with Excel
•Awareness of FCA regulations pertaining to Unit Trusts and OEIC i.e. COLL, 2010 SORP and key changes updated in 2014 SORP
•Experience of using InvestOne
