THE ROLE
A leading London based gaming company with a focus on online and mobile casino games is looking for a seasoned, industry savvy Network Engineer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract
The role is predominantly a project based role to upgrade and expand the organisations current Network however there will be day to day BAU tasks involved on odd occasions.
You will work with key stakeholders to develop network designs and secure funding for key projects.
Skills required:
- Experience in designing and implementing complex data networks
- In-Depth technical knowledge of network components (switches, routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, etc.) and routing protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.).
- Data - CCIE qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in designing large-scale network solutions for the gaming industry
- Extensive Knowledge and experience with Cisco technology
- Extensive knowledge and experience of WAN routing technologies (MPLS, etc.).
- Good knowledge of wireless technologies and implementation.
- Good experience with Firewall technology (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Gaming industry experience is key
