Overview of department:
The SLC Recruitment Team support both volume and specialist recruitment activity across the business.
The Recruitment Coordinator will work within this dedicated recruitment team and manage the administration activities for the end to end recruitment process.

Reporting to:
Recruitment Team Lead

Key responsibilities:
• Uploading vacancies to the relevant internal and external recruitment portals
• Maintain the recruitment system to allow accurate applicant tracking and reporting
• Maintain recruitment templates and relevant hard and soft copy files
• Support the selection process, including: arranging interviews, sending invitations, meeting/greeting candidates, taking copies of relevant paperwork
• Schedule and coordinate other recruitment events, including open days and supplier meetings
• Keeping candidates advised of application progress
• Manage the on-boarding process
• Preparing volume contracts and offer packs
• Filing of interview forms, arranging for documents to be scanned and update associated database with interview notes
• Provide a comprehensive efficient and effective administrative service to support the work of the recruitment team, including any volume recruitment campaigns
• Routine forward planning and co-ordination of room bookings for recruitment rounds
• Full responsibility for pre-employment checking, involving reference, credit and disclosure checks, ensuring that all new starter packs are up to date and compliant within tight timescales

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications
• Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Email
• Previous administration experience
• Highly organised, logical and methodical approach to work with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience of dealing with large volumes of work under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst dealing with competing priorities
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills

Desirable Skills
• On-boarding experience, gained within a recruitment environment
• HR/ ATS systems experience (eg Oracle HR)
• Previous public sector experience advantageous
• A working knowledge of lotus notes
